ANKARA, Turkey (AP) - An official says police have found the bodies of eight family members shot dead in an apartment in southern Turkey.
Adana Mayor Aytac Durak says the dead include a divorced nurse, her three children and some of her siblings.
He said Monday they were shot in the head and other parts of the body in the home they shared.

Police are investigating the killings and are looking into the possibility of a so-called «honor killing» in which women accused of immoral behavior are murdered by a relative to protect the family's reputation.
