SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/01/10 -- Black Star Beer ( www.blackstarbeer.com : ), the Double Hopped Golden Lager, wasn't the only star at the official party on Friday, August 27th for this year's Sunset Strip Music Festival : (SSMF). Musicians and celebrities came to celebrate the festival at Black Star Beer, Virgin America and V Australia's Get Stripped event at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood. This year's honoree of the festival, legendary Guns 'N Roses guitarist Slash joined the party. Actors Jeremy Piven, notorious for his role on Entourage, and Joe Manganiello of True Blood were a few of the stars walking the red carpet that night.





Guests enjoyed ice-cold Black Star Double Hopped Golden Lager on the roof-top deck. Buckets of Black Star were shared between friends and celebrities poolside. Minott Wessinger, fifth generation brewer and creator of Black Star also attended the festivities. "A bucket of beers is the best conversation starter and perfect for a party," said Wessinger.
