House star Hugh Laurie is sporting a painful black eye after injuring himself in a boxing bout, according to U.K. reports.
The Brit actor is a big fan of the sport and practises regularly while he's in Los Angeles filming the medical drama.
But the 50 year old was punched in the face during a session earlier this week (ends27Nov09), reports Britain's Daily Mail newspaper - and he now is sporting a painful bruise and swelling around his eye.
Laurie laughed off his injury, joking, "I walked into a door... No, I mean I got hit by an owl."
