Leaders from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries gathered last week at the Vienna Messe for the 15 th annual BIO-Europe partnering conference.

The conference drew 2,500 delegates, representing 1,400 companies from 50 countries, who engaged in 12,504 one-to-one partnering meetings. In addition, there were 22 workshops and panel sessions, and 170 presentations by biotech companies seeking financing, licensing opportunities or partners for advancing their product development.

The event also featured glamorous networking evening events at the Schoenbrunn Palace’s Orangery, the imperial Redoute Halls at the Hofburg and the ballroom of Vienna’s Rathaus.
