BEYONCE is putting her alter-ego SASHA FIERCE to work - the superstar is launching a new clothing line inspired by her sexy stage persona.
The superstar and fashion designer mum Tina have announced plans to release a new junior apparel label, taking influence from costumes used on Beyonce's on-going I Am... tour.
The Sasha Fierce for Dereon collection includes a full range of sportswear, outerwear, handbags, footwear, eyewear, lingerie and jewellery and will be an addition to the Dereon junior label - Tina Knowles own line - which has been picked up by a string of department stores across the U.S.
Tina tells Women's Wear Daily, "When the tour started, we noticed the definite style of it. Thierry Mugler designed the clothes for the tour, but we really wanted to celebrate the style and interpret that into a collection.â The range is scheduled to hit stores this autumn (09).
