An analysis of A.M. Best Co.’s rating actions over the past 12 months reveals that insurers and reinsurers operating in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), in general, have been significantly impacted by the fragile economies and challenging conditions in these territories, according to a new briefing from A.M.
