Best Buy Renews Partnership with Roush Fenway Racing for 2013

Multi-channel Retailer to Continue Partnership for 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
                                     Season

MINNEAPOLIS, September 14, 2012 - Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY) today announced
plans to renew its sponsorship deal with Roush Fenway Racing Team for the 2013
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Season.  Best Buy will serve as primary sponsor of
Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s No. 17 Ford Fusion for 12 races and Carl Edwards' No. 99
Ford for four races.  In addition, Best Buy will be an associate sponsor for
each as well.

Best Buy also launched today the Best Buy Evolved Viewing Experience, making its debut for the Geico 400 in Chicago. "Best Buy is showcasing a never before seen viewing experience for sports fans," commented Gillett.  "The Best Buy Evolved Viewing Experience is a combination of what you can do when you combine normal technology with some imagination and innovation resulting in an out of this world experience."  The Evolved Viewing Experience will also be at track in Charlotte and Homestead later this season.
