Rockers REM will reunite with former drummer BILL BERRY when the band is inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in Atlanta on 16 September (06).
Berry quit the group due to health issues in 1997 and has only played publicly with his bandmates three times since.
He last performed with MICHAEL STIPE, PETER BUCK and MIKE MILLS in April (06) at a concert by Buck's side project the MINUS 5 in Athens, Georgia.
