SLEEPY HOLLOW, Wyo. – Millions of counting sheep (Ovis Canadensis Numerus) are being used every night in homes across America, defying the laws of nature. The goal of the Better Eating of Disadvantaged Sheep (BEDS) Council is to restore the natural order by returning the counting sheep to the wild.
“Hundreds of thousands of carnivores are on the brink of starvation in America,” says BEDS Council CEO and Chairman Carl Canis. “We want to solve this problem by helping people fall asleep quickly and comfortably, eliminating the need for domesticated counting sheep. The seriousness of the situation cannot be understated. My cousin Wyatt in Wyoming has been forced to eat beef jerky. Beef jerky! He hasn’t had a proper meal in
over a month. What’s next? Turkey jerky? A carnivore can only go so low.”
“On behalf of carnivores everywhere, the BEDS Council is dedicated to returning counting sheep to the wild by any and all means necessary. To that end, the BEDS Council has already initiated high-level discussions with major bedding manufacturers in order to promote restful sleep. We will inform the public as information becomes available.” Canis said. “For more information and to get involved, please visit Bedscouncil.com.”
