Beauty Encounter Launches New Brand and Website

The Orange County-based online company has embarked on an innovative chapter, creating a new logo, tagline - where beauty is @ - and website, which includes enhanced features, simple navigation, a company blog and a fresh design.

Along with a unique look and feel, BeautyEncounter.com now offers shoppers a variety of new sections, including: a dedicated men's section; "At the Counter," where advice, tips and trends are shared by beauty experts in the industry; an updated blog called "Behind the Counter," where shoppers find a collaboration of product recommendations, hair care how-to's, fabulous fragrances and the hottest celebrity trends; and "Counter Culture," which will showcase top product picks from Beauty Encounter staff members.

Beauty Encounter's first guest expert, RC Stephens, makeup artist for NARS Cosmetics, reports on hot trends he observed behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week. He also gives useful cosmetics tips and his product picks for the fall season.

As part of Beauty Encounter's launch during October's breast cancer awareness month, the company has partnered with Breast Cancer Network of Strength. From October 1-31, Beauty Encounter will donate 1% of sales to this non-profit organization that offers peer support and programs to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Beauty Encounter hopes to beat their $13,000 donation made to the organization in 2007.
