- Billy Jensen, president and CEO of Concord, CA-based Fidelity National Home Warranty Company and 25-year veteran of the home warranty and insurance industries, has been elected president of the Home Warranty Association of California (HWAC).

Jensen succeeds Mark Lightfoot of American Home Shield as HWAC president.

Joining Jensen as new officers of HWAC are Lorna Mello of Old Republic Home Protection Company, San Ramon, vice president; Stewart Miller, LandAmerica Home Warranty, Burbank, treasurer, and Deb Nagasawa, First American Home Protection, Van Nuys, secretary. Jensen, Lightfoot and Dan Langston of First American Home Protection comprise the new HWAC legislative committee.

"This is an exciting time to head one of California's most respected trade organizations both because home

warranty usage is at an all-time high with approximately nine out of every 10 existing home sales including a home warranty today, and because the value of home warranties has taken on added importance during the challenging housing market we are working our way through," Jensen said.

Jensen, who is also president and CEO of Disclosure Source, another Fidelity National Financial company, served in a variety of sales and management positions during his career, including vice president of sales/Western division for a large national home warranty company. Jensen has his property and casualty insurance license in California. He also currently serves as president of the National Home Service Contract Association.

Jensen attended St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA, and served four years in the United States Coast Guard. He and his wife, Laurie, reside in Santa Rosa, CA. They have three daughters, Annmarie, Danielle and Sarah.
