Barry Manilow Looking Frail
Barry Manilow Looking Frail

Written by Adrian Twist -

Manorexic crooner Barry Manilow is just a shell of his former ruffled glory self, and it's a shocking 100-pound-sight to behold. Who knew that when he sang the following lines from "Copacabana" that he was foretelling his own future:

♫ Her name is Lola, she was a showgirl
But that was 30 years ago, when they

used to have a show
Now it's a disco, but not for Lola
Still in the dress she used to wear, faded feathers in her hair
She sits there so refined, and drinks herself half-blind
She lost her youth and she lost her Tony
Now she's lost her mind! ♫

Now, I'm not saying he's a heavy drinker, but has Mr. Manilow lost his Tony? If so, it sure looks like he might have found a hunky replacement with his escort in the above photo, and has no excuse for this weight loss drama!

His spokesperson said, "Granted, he's pretty trim... But 100lb? And no, he's not ill. He is rehearsing for his new show in Vegas, recording his new album, recording an original rock album, putting together an arena show and sometimes even enjoying the beach."

Leaves me to question, is "the beach" a codename for something with a little more splash?
