AMERICAN IDOL winner FANTASIA BARRINO has given her TV self the thumbs up, insisting little JAMIA SIMONE NASH reminds her of herself.
Nash will play the BELIEVE singer in upcoming US TV movie LIFE IS NOT A FAIRY TALE, which chronicles Fantasia's difficult upbringing, her rape attack and her singing victory on Idol in 2004.
And the real Barrino insists casting bosses picked the right girl for the job.
She says, "Jamia is a powerhouse of a singer. She reminds me a lot of me." Little Nash is no stranger to US TV - she provides the voice of UNIQUA on children's show THE BACKYARDIGANS.
