The General Services Administration (GSA) conducted a required Contractor Assist Visit (CAV) of Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE Amex:BKR), at the Beaver, Pa., office. After completion of the CAV, the GSA sent Baker an Administrative Report Card (ARC) which graded Baker’s GSA Schedule performance and administration as “Exceptional.”

Baker is in the second five-year performance period of its GSA Schedule GS-00F-0032M which has been an active contract since February 2002. The Schedule has the potential of receiving two additional performance period extensions which would keep the contract active until 2022. GSA Schedule GS-00F-0032M is one of Baker’s largest contracts, generating millions of dollars in revenue each year.

“Achieving at least a passing grade on

the required CAV is vital to the success of the Baker GSA Schedule,” said Terry McAllister, contract administration manager, Michael Baker Jr., Inc. “The fact that Baker received an “Exceptional” grade puts Baker in the top tier of GSA contractors in terms of contract compliance and administration.”
