Terry Angel Mason, one of America’s most well-known and influential LGBT authors, speakers and civil rights activists, will be a featured guest and panelist at In The Meantime Men’s Group for a discussion on religion and politics on Tuesday, October 16th. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the debate will be from 6-7:30 pm.

In the Meantime Men’s Group is located at 4067 W. Pico Blvd. LA CA 90019. The event is free to the public and will include the viewing of the 2nd Presidential debate. Mason will be among other noted African American authors including Donta Morrison, Azzan Kamau, Ifalade Tashia Asanti, and Alfreda Lanoix.

Mason, a full-blown AIDS survivor, has been advocating for the rights of HIV-infected people

for over a decade and has dedicated his life to empowering and educating people about the virus and about how not to become infected. He was named the National HIV/AIDS Spokesperson for 2012, and has won numerous awards for his work in HIV/AIDS prevention.
