Spacefest V is a gathering of space enthusiasts that will be held in Tucson, Arizona, May 24 - 27, 2013, at the scenic Starr Pass Resort. Most of the living moonwalkers and Apollo astronauts, world-class speakers, astronomers, scientists, and artists from movies, TV and print, will meet and greet fans.
Paul Gillebaard, author of Moon Hoax, will be signing books on Friday, May 24, at 11:45AM and Saturday, May 25, at 1:00PM at Spacefest V.
“It’s a pleasure each year to be a part of such a great space show and interact with both fans and astronauts,” said Paul Gillebaard.
Paul Gillebaard's brilliant debut novel, Moon Hoax, is a magnificent tale of seemingly doing the impossible, sending an American back
to the moon today. China claims the moon landings never happened and that they have proof. Losing worldwide prestige is not an option for the United States. Peter Novak, son of a moonwalker, is selected to fly the dangerous secret mission to the moon and enlists a former space rival as his unlikely co-pilot. The two must overcome China's efforts to sabotage the operation and beat the communists to the moon. Moon Hoax is an action packed thriller intertwined around a passionate romance. America is thrust into a race back to the moon—And this time it's personal.
“I finally got around to reading Moon Hoax. It was a fantastic read. I could hardly put it down. Some twists and turns in the plot that I didn't expect. Thoroughly enjoyed it,” said Charlie Duke, the 10th man on the moon.
Paul Gillebaard lived in Nassau Bay, Texas during the moon shot years, home for many of the Apollo astronauts. Living among these men who made history inspired Paul to write Moon Hoax. For more information on Moon Hoax, visit www.moonhoaxbook.com/
