2014-03-10 05:46:45 - QFire Software and BIReady, the Dutch leaders in Data Warehouse Automation software, have today announced a working partnership. QFire, named Gartner ‘Cool Vendor for 2013’ will provide data quality and validation software to be embedded into BIReady to provide an instant and robust data quality feature for BIReady customers.

BIReady CEO Gertjan Vlug said, “The addition of the QFire validation engine expands the scope and capability of BIReady to make a better choice for our new customers and increases the already significant value we provide to our existing client base. This extended capability helps differentiate BIReady’s strong offering even further. When the team at QFire initially approached us, we spent some time working out how best this would fit and as we spent more time together it became very obvious there are strong synergies between the two companies. It’s a good fit.”

The two companies came together as a result of channel overlap with a number of reseller partners having adopted both products, and were key instigators in getting the

two vendors talking. Without their initiative and participation, the partnership probably would not have come to fruition.

Neil Currie, Executive Chairman QFire commented, “We are very pleased to be able to enter into this relationship with BIReady. It fits with much of our strategic direction where we see QFire adding value to customers through its integration capability. With a significant number of Business Intelligence projects failing as a result of poor data quality, the ability to incorporate an easy-to-use Data Validation process into Data Warehouse Automation brings significant cost saving and benefits, reducing risk and improving the organisation’s ability to make better decisions.”
