Gurgaon, India, April 2, 2014: Aspect Software, a leading provider of fully-integrated customer interaction management, workforce optimization and back-office and award-winning cloud solutions, today announced the appointment of Mr. Sriram Viswanathan as Director- Channels & Alliances for India and the Middle East. In this role, Sriram will build and lead Aspect’s partner efforts in the region, which is among the key growth markets for the company.
Sriram, who will be based out of Bangalore, succeeds Mr. Sanjay Puri, who was the lead for Aspect’s channel operations in the region and has played a significant role in augmenting the channel landscape in India and the Middle East. Sriram joins us from Avaya where he’s handled numerous responsibilities in management of both system integrators and distribution partners in the past 4 years. Prior to Avaya, Sriram has managed the channels and commercial business in RSA, The Security Division of EMC, and has also undertaken recognizable assignments in companies such as Sonicwall Inc., CNT International and CADD Center, in the past.
With over 18 years of sales experience spanning across multiple technology companies, in the areas of Computer Aided Design, Information Security and Enterprise Communications, he has a thorough knowledge of the channel business since a large part of his professional career has been in managing and growing the channel ecosystem. He has also won various accolades and awards from the channel community for his relentless support to partners.
