Asian Energy Inc, the Thai based producer of solar energy and solar products has commenced work to complete a 1MW power station in Nth Thailand. The project that will go online in 2010 will provide solar power to the regional power authority. The site will also serve to showcase the Asian Energy products and services. Asian Energy is also in the running for several other power plant contracts around Asia.
Asian Energy designs and builds solar products and power stations, the companies new production facility will be exporting finished solar products globally. CSP and Standard solar energy equipment will be manufactured to the highest possible quality standards by our staff headed up by Prof. Somyos an expert in Designing, Manufacturing and System Analyst both application and system software programming. He excels in the area of Designing and Manufacturing water treatment system for drinking, industrial usage and waste water as well as Manufacturing Processing, Steel Fabrication and Chemical for Agriculture. He has headed up teams at NASA and the DoD, he also held senior positions at IBM.
The factory is big enough to allow expansion into wind power products that Asian Energy
is currently developing.

Somyos Durongkadej, the CEO and Project Advisor of Solasia Inc and Asian Energy Inc (both 30% held by Heffernan Inc and contracted to Ebeling Heffernan for listing) has joined the Heffernan Inc Team.His wide experiences in key sectors will be invaluable to Heffernan Inc.
The Heffernan Inc Solar investments have already signed Govt contracts for the supply of solar energy, the companies are also in talks with Govts in Laos, Cambodia and China. The proprietary technology developed by Somyos sits at the core of the groups success.
Somyos always had his interest in home use innovations since he was young. As a university student, he achieved his first degree in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, one of the most prestigious educational institutions of Thailand, his motherland. At the early age of the industry Computers were still relatively new not only in Thailand but in most parts of the world Somyos decided to go abroad to extend his education as well as gain life experience in Canada. He took Computer Technology at the Control Data Institute of Technology, Montreal. While venturing into something completely new, Somyos still worked as an Electrical Engineer at Electrical Authorities of Quebec. He was also one of the System Analyst team at the Control Data Institute of Technology.
Somyos had found that the Computer Technology complemented his knowledge in Electrical Engineering and that he should further seek the in-depth education in Computer field. He arrived in the USA in 1977 where he later spent his next 20 years as a proven valuable workforce of the industry. Somyos enrolled in Digital Computer Engineering Department at Oklahoma State University, Still Water. As he was eager to excel, Somyos took a Teaching Assistant job at the Computer Science Department at the university. He also gained on-site experience as the Research Assistant of the Fiber Optics Project for the Electrical Engineering Department at the university as well.
Somyoses’ increasing interest in Electrical Engineering led him to do the Master Degree of Hybrid and Communication in Electrical Engineering at the University of Missouri. Whilst in pursuit of his Master Degree he took the Teaching Assistant position at both Computer Science Department and Electrical Engineering Department of the university. Moreover, as a Research assistant of the Electrical Engineering Department of University of Missouri, Somyos joined the Fault Tolelant simulation and the Land Satellite NASA Project.
After he finished his Master, Somyos joined Fairchild Co., Gathersberge in Maryland as the Production Engineer. He later moved to IBM in the same town as System Analyst. In the year 1982 he was at the University of Washington DC. as the Computer Coordinator.
Early of 1982 he accepted the offer of Land Satellite Specialist at NASA Greenbelt, Maryland. He then joined DOD (Department of Defense) in Washington DC. as the Computer Specialist in charge of electronic computer security in mainframe.
After 20 years in America Somyos felt it was time to return home. He was recruited by Siam Cement Group as the Head of Mainframe Computer for 4 years. Metropolitan Bank of Thailand hired him as the Vice President of IT. Later Somyos ventured in the automobile industry. He was Managing Director of Thaiyang Kijpaisan Automotive Parts Co., Samutprakarn, Thailand, V-Metal Thai Co., Bangkok, Thailand, Mazuma (Thailand) Co., Bangkok, Thailand and Multi-Merk Co., Bangkok, Thailand.
Meanwhile Somyos was giving his service as the Head of Consultant of ITB Government Program to several entities being Textiles Group, Automotives Group and Electrical Group of Bangkok where he guided the company under each groups through and help them comply with the Thai government rules and regulations for each industry. Because of his reputation in various business sectors Somyos was selected to be a senator candidate for Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2003 Somyos joined B&W Autoparts of Japan a tier 1 company in Bangkok as the General Manager prior to his role as the Managing Director at Chemplus Group who produce the chemical used in the biggest industry of the Thailand, agriculture.
His vast knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering eventually brought him back as the Managing Director of PS Factory Home Appliances and the CEO of Solasia Inc and Asian Energy Inc.
At the age of 59 Somyos is an expert for Designing, Manufacturing and System Analyst both application and system software programming.
