Able Hero is an exciting new website coming soon. Our mission is to enrich the lives of those living with mental and physical disabilities. Our hope is to encourage their creativity and give them online visibility to promote their talents.
Currently we are looking for anyone in Asheville, Weaverville, or the Black Mountain (Western North Carolina) area who is is disabled and possesses an amazing talent. Whether you paint, craft or own your own business, we want to hear about it. This will be a completely free service. If you know someone
who may be interested, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and send any information about the person along with a photo/video you may have showing off your talent.
A full bio,
photos and an online store will be created for each participant. A team of Web Designers and IT professionals will also be offering free computer classes and a supply of donated computers. The organization was started by Stephanie Chow, a local web designer, and Ricky Boone, a local entertainer. Despite being bound to a wheelchair for the majority of his life, Ricky has become a successful magician in his career.
