We cordially invite you to perform at our Earth Day festival, One City Celebrating a Green Lifestyle.
Earth’s Natural Force Connections (ENF) and the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) have
partnered together for Earth Day 2014, with the support of the District Department of the
Environment (DDOE), WHUR 96.3FM and Howard University’s Office of Sustainability. The One City
Celebrating a Green Lifestyle Festival is FREE for attendees. It will be held at the Kennedy
Center in Washington, DC on April 19, 2014, from 11am to 4pm.
With the national theme, Green Cities, ENF and DPR invites area residents to take part in an
environmental festival, One City Celebrating a Green Lifestyle to help our city become more
sustainable and reduce its carbon footprint. Over 2,000 DMV area residents will experience live
performances, healthy and sustainable vendors, group fitness instructions, horseshoe, basketball,
skate mobile, bike mobile, games, education, live art displays, demonstrations and giveaways.

addition, to performing while guest are entering and leaving the festival, below outlines what we
can offer in return for being a part of “The One City Celebrating a Green Lifestyle Festival”:
• Talent included on promotional materials (Flyers and Press Releases) artwork.jpeg image of
company logo or artist picture will be needed
• Talent promoted on Online Media Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
• Included in radio public service announcement on WHUR 96.3FM
• Photo and biography on our event website
• A booth with (2) chairs will be provided to promote and sell products and services. *ENFC or
DPR will not be able to provide music equipment and/or speakers for the show. Must be
provided by band or artist.
