- ANXeBusiness Corp., a leading provider of networking and security managed services and software, has acquired certain assets of CSCI Inc., including the Virtual Private Network (VPN) portion of CSCI's OfficeScreen business. This is the company's second acquisition this year and is designed to strengthen the ANX VPN product line for customers in multiple vertical markets.

OfficeScreen includes a

suite of managed security services for small to medium-sized businesses with secure wide-area networks that require efficient, economical and secure links for offices and remote workers. Customers use OfficeScreen because it is inexpensive and does not require large expenditures for hardware, dedicated IT resources or large IT budgets. With companies grappling with the ever-increasing threats of public Internet security breaches to their network data, products like OfficeScreen are critical for the necessary remote access required to maintain business efficiency.

"Combining OfficeScreen with our existing ANX Managed Network Services products such as PositivePRO, will further strengthen our VPN capabilities for ANX customer across all vertical markets," said Rich Stanbaugh, president and CEO, ANXeBusiness. "With the rapidly growing need for companies to provide secure remote access to employees, ANX is positioned to offer customers a range of world-class products in the managed VPN services area."

The industry-leading OfficeScreen suite contains IP security (IPSec) bundles that create the secure wide-area networks companies use for remote access, which are all proactively monitored and supported by technical experts in a 24x7x365 manner. As an existing provider of these types of managed network and security services to customers today, ANX will continue to deliver to current OfficeScreen customers the level of service they have come to rely on but with future enhancements.

"We will take the best technology features from the entire ANX managed VPN portfolio and provide our customers with the highest quality remote access and network security products and services in the marketplace today," Stanbaugh added.

The recently completed transaction comes less than a month after ANX acquired the VPN division of Positive Networks, Inc. and its flagship product, Positive PRO. This latest acquisition marks the fourth that ANX has made within the last two years, including the purchases of Management Information Systems Group (MISG) in December 2006 and Virtual Services, Inc. in July 2007.

ANXeBusiness Inc. (www.anx.com), headquartered in Southfield, Mich., has offices in Research Triangle Park, N.C., Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, San Diego, CA and Toronto. It provides a range of Managed Network Service, Transaction Delivery Service, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) products and services for customers in the automotive original equipment and aftermarket industries, healthcare, education, government, financial and aerospace industries as well as other manufacturing sectors.
