Answers.com Announces September comScore Rank of #13, up from #18 in August

Answers Corporation (NASDAQ: ANSW), creators of the leading answer engine Answers.com® which includes community-driven WikiAnswers® and licensed ReferenceAnswers™ sites today announced comScore data for September 2009. Answers.com’s combined U.S. unduplicated unique visitors reached 56.4 million in September, up 25% from 45.1 million in August.
WikiAnswers had 46.3 million U.S. unique visitors and ReferenceAnswers had 21.4 million U.S. unique visitors in September.

comScore data for September 2009 positioned WikiAnswers, the company’s social knowledge Q&A platform, as the leading community-driven Q&A site in the United States in terms of unique visitors.

According to comScore, Answers.com sites now have a higher audience than major brands such as CNN.com, craigslist and New York Times Digital.

comScore’s top twenty U.S. Properties for September 2009, based on

total unique visitors, in order, were: Google Sites, Yahoo! Sites, Microsoft Sites, AOL, Facebook, Ask Network, Fox Interactive Media, eBay, Amazon Sites, Wikimedia Foundation Sites, Apple, CBS Interactive, Answers.com Sites, Glam Media, Demand Media, Turner Network, Viacom Digital, New York Times Digital, craigslist and The Weather Channel.
