2012-11-16 10:34:23 - In October 2012, communication group G3 conducted another qualitative content research of the Russian blogosphere concerning the most popular social and political topics and events discussed by the bloggers.
The media space audit was carried out through daily analysis of messages on LiveJournal and Twitter blogging platforms and the main topic trends were identified. Besides, the qualitative analysis of the Russian bloggers’ assessment of different events, which took place in Russia in October 2012, as well as the bloggers’ attitudes towards the Russian state power, was made.
Within the framework of the research, weekly content dynamics of discussions in the Russian segment of the blogosphere was identified, which makes it possible to reveal social and political attitudes of a considerable number of people in Russia, who use blogging as a means of communication and a primary source of information.
