Analysis Group, the largest privately held economic consulting firm in the country, has been named for the second consecutive year as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts in a survey published by The Boston Globe ( www.boston.com/bostonworks/topworkplaces/2009/top10employers?pg= .. :
).
Out of nearly 1,000 participating companies, the firm was ranked 8 th on the overall list and 3 rd
on the list of companies with 250 to 999 employees in Massachusetts.
The “Top Places to Work” survey recognizes the most progressive companies in the commonwealth based on employee opinions about company leadership, compensation and training, diversity/inclusion, career development, family-friendly flexibility, and values and ethics. Private companies and nonprofits as well as publicly held businesses were included in the analysis. The rankings are based on survey information collected by Workplace Dynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.
President and CEO Martha S. Samuelson said that “although the award focuses on Massachusetts, it results from our culture of collaboration both in Massachusetts and across the firm. Being recognized as a great place to work is the result of all of our collective efforts.”
To qualify, a company must have more than 100 employees in Massachusetts. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.
