MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 11/11/09 -- Amseco Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: AEL) ("Amseco") is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean Desmarais to its board of directors effective immediately, subject to regulatory approval. The board of directors has granted 250,000 stock options to Mr. Desmarais exercisable for a period of five years at $0.10 per share.



Mr. Desmarais was an Investment Advisor since 1997, having worked for BMO Nesbitt Burns from 1997 to 2001, before becoming Vice-President and Branch Manager and Investment Advisor at Valeurs Mobilieres Desjardins where he worked until August 2009. He holds his Partner, Director and Officer, Options Supervisor, Branch Manager and Investment Advisor licenses. As part of his functions he assisted a number of Companies from various industries in becoming public, helping them structure and raise financings of various types (debt and equity).



He was on the Board of Directors of Overlord Financial ("AHF") Calgary, AB , and Bikini Village ("GBV"), Montreal, QC. He also advised a number of private and public companies in matters of corporate finance.
