The Houston Chapter of AMA will host a number of events in December that you won’t want to miss!
Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business, the official Academic Partner for AMA Houston, is offering free admission for AMA Houston members to attend the Inaugural Health Care Symposium, “Patient Focused Healthcare Management,” On December 3. The symposium will address several healthcare topics regarding patient-focused healthcare.

On December 10, AMA Houston’s Non-Profit Marketing SIG will host Denise Patrick, Pierpont Communications; Brooke Browne, Neighborhood Centers, Inc.; Sheena Abraham, Regional Blood Center; and Julie Coan, Houston PBS. Their topic, "Creative Marketing for Nonprofits – Spend a little, get a lot!" will include discussions on word-of-mouth marketing that companies should leverage to get people talking about their business.
Not just for non-profits, companies of all shapes and sizes will walk away with knowledge on word-of-mouth marketing tools including how to use social media to interact and engage with supporters, how to influence your influencers and how to interact with bloggers.
