ST. LOUIS, Mo., April 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amdocs , the leading provider of software and services to enable integrated customer management and the intentional customer experience(TM), announced today that the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has named Amdocs to its second annual ranking of the world's best outsourcing service providers - The Global Outsourcing 100. Amdocs was named to last year's inaugural list and significantly improved its ranking to 30, as compared to its previous ranking of 55.

IAOP's Global Outsourcing 100 list includes companies from around the world

providing the full spectrum of outsourcing services. The list provides an industry-wide benchmark for overall outsourcing excellence and will be published in the special advertising feature produced by IAOP in the April 30, FORTUNE 500 issue of FORTUNE(R) magazine. Amdocs was recognized for its excellence in both the telecommunications industry and for serving more than 150 leading service providers in the world. Additionally, Amdocs was identified by IAOP for its exceptional customer relationship management and information communications technology management capabilities.

Companies are ranked according to 18 criteria, including revenue growth, the number of employees and their skills, the number of technical and business certifications, the track record of the management team, and the quality of customer service. The selection process also looked at factors such as education and training of employees and commitment to community development.

"Getting selected for the Global Outsourcing 100 is not easy," said Jag Dalal, managing director, Thought Leadership, IAOP and chairman of the judges' panel. "The application process was rigorous as was the competition among the applicants. The judging was based on a set of measurable standards as well as evaluation by a panel of industry-recognized leaders in outsourcing. Every company that made the list should be proud of its accomplishment. These are the organizations that businesses should carefully consider during their selection and due diligence processes."

"We are honored to once again be named as a global outsourcing leader," said Michael Matthews, chief marketing officer at Amdocs. "This recognition is a testament to the strength of Amdocs' services business and the company's long history of successfully delivering large scale, complex transformation and outsourcing projects for service providers around the world."

The IAOP Global Outsourcing 100 is based on applications received and evaluated by an independent panel of judges and defines the standard for outsourcing-services delivery. A full list is available on the IAOP website, http://www.outsourcingprofessional.org/.
