Sandhu Brothers bring ‘Pudsey to Dartford’.
Local businessmen, brothers Ragbhir & Avtar Sandhu MBE, last year held a Curry Night at their function hall in Dartford, the event was organised within 3 weeks and raised £1050.00 for the BBC Children In Need. This year they did the same again and SOLD OUT, as a special surprise for the people at the event they has BBC Children In Need’s Pudsey Bear come to the event on behalf of the charity. For a ticket price of only £12 for adults, people enjoyed a full 3 course authentic Indian Curry and entertainment by ‘Just us Disco’ of Dartford. The raffle prizes were very kindly donated by a large number of local businesses. Kent County
Councillor, Avtar Sandhu MBE said” At first we were unsure of the response we would get, but when we realised that local businesses and families were booking tables of 10 and 12 we knew the event would be a sell out. I’d like to thank everyone who helped make the event a great success, Pudsey Bear was a real surprise for everyone, the kids couldn’t believe it.” The event was held at Amar Hall, East Hill Dartford on Friday 6th November and the total amount raised on the night was £1205.00 and the Sandhu brothers are confident about beating this target for next year.
