'Mode One' Author Alan Roger Currie will soon take part in a series of discussions about dating and relationships on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. He is a book author and Internet talk radio show Host who tells women how to find a ‘good man' in this month's edition of Essence Magazine, but make no mistake: Alan Roger Currie is not your proverbial ‘Mr. Nice Guy' or 'Mr. Perfect Gentleman.' Currie is a provocative straight shooter who loves to leave women saying, ‘Oh my God!
I don't believe he just said that!'
Currie is the author of the popular paperback, ‘Mode One: Let The Women Know What You're REALLY Thinking,' which is a manual that challenges and encourages men to express their romantic and/or sexual desires, interests, and intentions to [single] women in a more highly self-assured, upfront, and straightforwardly honest manner.
After Currie was quoted in the July 2008 edition of Essence Magazine, his provocative nickname for sexual intercourse ... ‘exchanging orgasms' ... has become incredibly popular among fans of both his book and his Internet radio show, ‘Upfront & Straightforward with Alan Roger Currie.' ‘I really need to get that phrase trademarked ' said Currie, laughing. ‘I receive more Email messages about that ‘exchanging orgasms' comment than anything else I said in the Essence piece. It's much better than saying fu**ing.'
Currie was recently invited to take part in a number of discussions about dating, relationships, sex, and marriage on the popular nationally syndicated radio program, ‘The Tom Joyner Morning Show.' Currie actually went to college with political commentator Tavis Smiley, who was a mainstay on Joyner's morning program until he resigned just recently. ‘Tavis was always opinionated, and exceptionally articulate in expressing his viewpoints. I wish him nothing but the best as he continues his career,' said Currie, who graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana as Smiley did. ‘I look forward to the discussions on TJMS - and I hope these discussions enlighten someone out there listening.'
