AIG Employee Benefit Solutions ® announced today a new launch of their group disability policy, underwritten by AIG Life Insurance Company and American International Life Assurance Company of New York, subsidiaries of American International Group, Inc.(AIG). The re-launched product now includes an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration and an in-house disability claim operation, which

will help streamline claims processing.
? More and more, employees depend upon their employers to provide benefits that help protect themselves and their families, while at the same time employers are adding benefits to remain more competitive in the marketplace to attract and retain talent, ? said Donna Fahey, senior vice president, business development and marketing, AIG Employee Benefit Solutions. ? Our updated group disability policy now offers both employers and employees alike competitive and simplifying features. ?
The EAP and Work/Life Program, offered to employer-funded long-term disability groups of 10 or more, provides employers a comprehensive resource to help employees manage multifaceted personal and work-related needs. AIG Employee Benefit Solutions has partnered with Harris Rothenberg International (HRI) to provide these services to its customers.
This new policy also offers FMLA administration to disability client groups of 100 or more. This includes state-of-the-art technology embedding all federal and state requirements as well as in-house, integrated FMLA and disability claims management.
Other competitive features of the updated policy include:
- New manual rates and pricing
- Advice to Pay (ATP) short-term disability services
- Seamless waiver of life premium process for both life and disability clients
