AGNITY, Inc., a leading provider of applications, solutions and services to mobile and fixed line service providers and enterprises, announced today that Fonet Global, a provider of Internet telephony services for business and residential consumers, will launch a new family of long distance services using the AGNITY ACONYX™ Prepaid Applications Suite.

The ACONYX Prepaid offering has enabled Fonet to add prepaid services to its product portfolio and provide prepaid long distance and local calling throughout Mexico and 5 countries in Latin America starting in January 2010.

Basing its global operations at its Dallas headquarters, Fonet will employ a network marketing/multilevel marketing strategy in the United States, Mexico, Latin America and other emerging markets such as India and Eastern Europe, which will

enable the company to expand its IP and prepaid services exponentially throughout the world. Fonet claims that its marketing strategy is the first complete telecom services offering with last-mile IP origination, softphone, and local DID dialing and conferencing services in the world.

AGNITY began the implementation phase of the ACONYX Prepaid solution in November 2009. In January 2010, Fonet will deploy a variety of prepaid cards and PINs for services in several countries. Rapid deployment of applications, like prepaid and its management apps, is made possible with the ACONYX service-oriented communications architecture (SOCA) framework. With the ACONYX framework, AGNITY enables service providers to quickly deploy next-generation applications and services over converged networks.

The platform is scalable to millions of subscribers.

Fonet Global has a license contracted with AGNITY for up to 2,000 simultaneous sessions, with an option to increase its license to 10,000 simultaneous sessions. With implementation underway, Fonet will market and deploy prepaid services over the AGNITY solution beginning in January 2010.
