2013-01-26 05:57:25 - The Africa Retail Awards will recognize and honor individuals and companies for innovation and achievement in the retail industry. The Africa Retail Awards seeks to recognize and shine light on the most innovative businesses on the continent by promoting success and innovation in the retail sector in Africa.

The winners will be announced during a black tie affair in Nairobi, Kenya on the evening of 29th August, 2013. The award categories include: Retail Personality of the Year, E-Commerce Award, Sustainability Award, In-Store Merchandising Award, Loss Prevention Award, Store Design Award and Technology Award.

This is to announce that nominations are now open for the 2013 Africa Retail Awards. There is no fee for nominators or nominees to enter the Africa Retail Awards. Nominations are open to any individual or organization involved in the retail industry anywhere in the African continent. The nominations will be presented to the Africa Retail Awards independent panel of judges who will shortlist the entries and select the winners.

The winners will be announced

Submission of nominations or entries:
The nomination must be submitted in English. The decision of the judging panel is final. Nominations and all supporting materials must be submitted online by 31st May, 2013. The finalists will be announced on 31st July, 2013 and the winners will be announced on 29th August, 2013 during the gala dinner / awards ceremony in Nairobi, Kenya.
