Leading manufacturer of air purifers for infection control engineering applications introduces Bob Wilson Group, Inc. as master distributor for the south eastern United States. AeroMed President, Bill Palmer, announced today the appointment of the Bob Wilson Group, Inc. as its master distributor for the south eastern United States.
AeroMed, Inc. is a manufacturer of air purification products used to help combat the spread airborne pathogens such as tuberculosis and anthrax in medical and commercial facilities. AeroMed's medical application air purification systems are used in hospitals,
jails and health clinics throughout the United States and Canada. The company's SafeMail containment hoods, which provide a safer environment in which to open suspicious mail, are used throughout the U.S. by various fortune 500 companies and government institutions.
According to Palmer, the Bob Wilson Group, located in Bradenton, Florida, will be responsible for both direct sales to end users and for sales to AeroMed distributors in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Tennessee. Palmer states that 'Bob Wilson and his company have been involved with air filtration sales for well over 25 years at both the regional and national level. The Bob Wilson Group will help to increase the visibility of our products in the Southeast U.S. and AeroMed's customers will benefit from the experience that the Bob Wilson Group brings to them'.
'The Southeast is a critical market for us', says Palmer, 'since it has several communities with high rates of tuberculosis (TB) and other infectious diseases. Diseases such as TB tend to exist at higher levels in foreign born populations. Given the Southeast's high density of immigrants and its common practice of utilizing migrant farm workers, healthcare facilities in this region will see an elevated number of these types of cases and will, therefore, benefit from using AeroMed products in their facilities.'
AeroMed has a wide variety of air purifiers that employ HEPA and UV (Ultra violet) technology to reduce the concentration of airborne pathogens. This equipment is often used to create negative pressure isolation rooms as well as to clean the air in areas such as emergency room waiting areas and exam rooms. AeroMed also provides aerosol treatment chambers (commonly called sputum booths) that are frequently used to provide a safe environment to perform diagnostic tests such as sputum inductions.
Both AeroMed and the Bob Wilson Group are members of the National Air Filtration Association (NAFA). For more information on AeroMed or the Bob Wilson Group, you can visit them on the WEB at www.myAeroMed.com or www.BobWilsongroup.com
