Advanced puts spotlight on mobile solutions for care workers
11 March 2013 – Advanced Health & Care (Advanced), a leading supplier of IT systems for the care sector, is showcasing its suite of care solutions on stand S88, Solent Hall at the Care Show (Bournemouth International Centre on 19 and 20 March, 2013).
Advanced will demonstrate end-to-end business application, CareSys, which has been designed specifically for residential care providers. This application encompasses care planning, time and attendance management and financial and operational management.
Advanced will also showcase mobile solution, iConnect to home care providers. This solution enables care workers to deliver real-time task lists and data via their mobile phones and records their actual arrival and departure times at service users’ homes using near-field (NFC) technology. iConnect also eliminates
the need for care workers to carry around paper rosters and customers no longer have to sign pieces of paper to prove care workers’ attendance at appointments.
Jim Chase, Managing Director of Advanced Health & Care, says, “The scale and complexity of care businesses in the UK is increasing through merger or expansion, so it is becoming much more important for businesses to have access to flexible and robust end to end care IT solutions.
“Exhibiting at the Care Show gives us the opportunity to talk through how our solutions work and how they can enable providers of all sizes to save time and costs, whilst still delivering great quality of care.”
The Care Show is designed to provide education, products and services for those owning, or running any organisation responsible for the care of older people. Proprietors, directors and managers of care homes, nursing homes, domiciliary care agencies, sheltered accommodation, learning disability homes, local authorities, specialist care units and private hospitals are expected to attend.
New to the Care Show this year is the Technology in Care Theatre. Discussions will take place here on how technology is changing the care landscape and the significance of IT to allow care organisations to embrace the future.
Advanced is one of 170 exhibitors at the show. To find out more about Advanced’s product suite, please visit stand S88 at Care Show Bournemouth. Please visit www.advancedcomputersoftware.com/ahc or call 01233 722 670 for more information.
