Once Upon a Time DVD Available Exclusively at Target

(Los Angeles, CA) February 14, 2012— ABC will release the Once Upon A Time original score EP [Expanded play music album] tomorrow, February 14, 2012 available on iTunes and ABC.com. The original music is written by award-winning composer Mark Isham. The EP includes four originally composed tracks. A full length album will be released this spring. Also to be released February 14, 2012, Once Upon a Time: Chapter One on DVD exclusively for Target. The complete first season will be released this fall. The highest rated new drama and now airing overseas, Once Upon A Time is a modern- day fairy tale created by Lost writers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis.

The music for Once Upon a Time is unique because

the epic score is recorded weekly using a live orchestra in Los Angeles and not electronically created music as most shows. The majestic quality of the series coupled by commissioning a leading film composer for the series, lends to further the musical credibility of the production.

Mark Isham’s recent film credits display his musical range; from the action-pack suspense of The Mechanics and dark yet inspirational drama of Warrior to the heartfelt emotional family feature Dolphin Tale, Mark Isham has built a reputation as a leading Hollywood composer. His credits also include Crash (Oscar winner for Best Picture), Miracle, A River Runs Through It (Oscar nomination for Best Score), and Nell (Golden Globe nomination for Best Score). Other projects include Quiz Show, The Cooler, In the Valley of Elah, Little Man Tate, The Moderns and Fly Away Home.

Mark Isham has collaborated with leading Hollywood icons including Robert Redford, Tom Cruise, Brian De Palma, Chick Corea, Jodie Foster, Robert Altman, Sting and Sydney Lumet. As a performer, Isham has the ability to display his talents in a variety of genres. His musical stylings can be heard on releases of music legends’ Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, Ziggy Marley, Joni Mitchell, The Rolling Stones and Van Morrison. Isham’s solo recordings have received worldwide critical acclaim, including Grammy nominations for Castalia and Tibet, and a win for his Virgin Records release, Mark Isham.
