The Bengali actress is getting married to Siddharth Vasudev in Kolkata that day. Siddharth was her co-actor in the serial, Shobha Somnath Ki.

“From the very first day, he came across as an extremely caring person. I used to travel for three hours every day to reach the shooting spot and after the night shoots, he would ask if I reached home safe. Then I went abroad to shoot for ‘From Sydney with Love’. During that time, he would text me every day asking if I had my food or not. I liked that. After I returned to Mumbai, we realized both of us

liked each other but couldn’t express our feelings. On January 28, 2012, he proposed. In February, I came to Kolkata to shoot for Aborto and suddenly Siddharth called and asked in total filmi style — ‘Kya tu mujshe shaadi karegi?’ It took me just a second to give my nod,” recalls Resshmi. She adds, “Sid is shy. He prefers watching a film to socializing. He is quite boring.” The actress will be wearing a Ritu Kumar lehnga on her D-Day.
