HOLLYWOOD, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/23/09 -- Canada's Queen of Comedy Carla Collins and three of the Improv's hottest comics, Ian Bagg, Michael Kosta and Dwayne Perkins, join forces on December 2, 2009, at the Hollywood Improv (8162 Melrose Ave.) to raise critical funds for Bark Avenue Foundation (BAF) of Los Angeles. The show, "Shitzus and Giggles," which will run from 7 - 9 PM, is the first of what the organization hopes will be an annual event whose purpose is not only to raise funds, but also to increase awareness of BAF and its mission, announced Melanie Pozez, Founder of BAF.



Admission is $25 with 100% of ticket sales being donated to BAF, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Bark Avenue Foundation is committed to significantly reducing pet overpopulation through spay/neuter, humane education, rescue and re-homing and community outreach. A live auction will feature a day on the set of "Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan," affording two people the opportunity to be special guests of Cesar Millan, during filming of his Emmy® nominated reality series on location in Hollywood. Proceeds from the auction will benefit BAF. There will also be a meet and greet reception with the performers immediately following the show.
